Argumento
Agnes, an abused woman who recently escaped her ex-husband Goss from prison, moves into a rundown motel in Oklahoma and works as a waitress. Her coworker R.C., who is lesbian, introduces Agnes to Peter, a mysterious drifter with paranoid tendencies. They begin a tentative romance while Agnes tries to evade her abusive past. As their relationship deepens, Peter's paranoia intensifies, fueled by conspiracy theories about a government mind-control project involving bugs transmitted via the phone.
