Argumento
Michael Rogers (Hywel Bennett), a chauffeur with big dreams but little money, marries wealthy heiress Ellie Thomsen (Hayley Mills) after discovering her wealth. They hire an architect to build their dream home on Gipsy's Acre, a piece of land believed to be cursed by locals. Michael's greed and dark intentions towards Ellie lead him to plot against her, with the help of Greta (Britt Ekland), Ellie's interfering best friend who has sinister ties to Michael.
