Argumento

In Tangier, Morocco, Dounia Abdallah, a Moroccan woman managing a construction site, decides to sell ancient artifacts found during excavation on the black market. Her goal is to raise enough money to leave Morocco with her son. She lives with Dimitri Barbarossa, a Franco-Serbian architect, in a relationship scandalous to their conservative community. The excavation reveals 4th-century Christian tombs adorned with ornate frescoes. However, Dounia's plan is disrupted when one of the construction workers disappears.
