Argumento
In Vicenza, Italy in 1956, Anna, a lawyer's wife, feels neglected by her husband Giacomo due to his focus on caring for his sick mother. Anna longs for a child but discovers she is infertile. She is shy and introverted until their maid, Angela, encourages her to express herself more freely. Angela persuades Anna to participate in erotic games which help Anna overcome her inhibitions.
