Argumento
La virgen de agosto follows Eva, a charming and soft-spoken woman approaching her late twenties in Madrid. Unlike most of her fellow Madrileños who leave for vacation during August, Eva chooses to spend this typically deserted month in the city. As she wanders through the streets filled with seasonal festivals and religious celebrations for the Virgin Mary, Eva visits museums, old friends, and familiar places to fill her days. Throughout this journey, Eva yearns for change and a revelation that will allow her to wipe her slate clean and start anew.
