Argumento
In 'McCabe and Mrs. Miller,' set in the early 20th century, John McCabe arrives in a small mining town seeking his fortune. He purchases land, renames it 'Idaho' to attract miners, and builds a saloon which becomes popular among the locals. However, when wealthy backers arrive to buy into the mine, they discover that McCabe has been exaggerating its profitability. McCabe then hires a prostitute, Mrs. Miller, to give his establishment an air of respectability. The two form a bond, and Mrs. Miller helps McCabe improve his image among the townsfolk.
