Argumento
A gothic romance novelist, desperate for inspiration, travels to Florence. She takes up residence in a haunted mansion and discovers an 18th-century diary detailing the story of an American woman who visited the family that owned the house. This woman shocked them with her flirtatious sexual manners and ultimately revealed their hypocrisy. Inspired by this tale, the novelist goes on to write a new series of romances.
