In order to join a fraternity, pledges must undergo initiation rituals testing their loyalty and endurance. One of these rituals, involving taking a bath in a tub filled with cornflakes, coffee grounds, vinegar, and other substances, goes horribly wrong for Sidney Scheider when someone replaces the water with acid. Sidney dies from his severe injuries. Years later, Acid Sid returns as a vengeful ghost, killing off those involved in his prank gone wrong. The college is thrown into chaos as one by one, students are slaughtered.
