In his fifteenth year of rigorous swim training, Kuba lives a seemingly normal life with his girlfriend Sylwia and mother Ewa. Tensions rise as Ewa pressures Kuba to have Sylwia move out. Meanwhile, Kuba becomes increasingly curious about some gay boys at his gym. At an art gallery opening, he meets Michal and feels drawn to him, much to Sylwia's delight but also concern. Kuba begins to neglect his training program, much to his mother's dismay, as he grows closer to Michal. Michal faces his own challenges convincing his parents of his lifestyle change. Eventually, Kuba musters the courage to confront those around him about his feelings for Michal and deal with the fallout.
