Argumento
The film 'Slugi Boze' (God's Slaves) begins with the suicide of a young German girl from a Women's Gregorian Choir led by Cantor Jan in Wroclaw, Poland. The choir is controversial due to its all-female composition, causing disapproval within the church community, even from Cantor Jan himself. Superintendent Warski, an experienced but unconventional investigator, is assigned to the case. Meanwhile, Ana Wittesch, a German police officer of Polish origin, arrives in Wroclaw for her own secret investigation.
