Argumento
In the small mountain community of Sam Dent in Canada, a tragic school bus accident leaves more than a dozen children dead and others injured. A big-city lawyer named Mitchell Stephens arrives to help the survivors' and victims' families prepare a class-action suit against the trucking company responsible for the accident. However, his efforts inadvertently drive a wedge between the townspeople instead of uniting them in their grief. Meanwhile, one teenage survivor of the accident, Nicole Burnell, struggles to come to terms with her paralysis and the loss of innocence she experiences as a result of the tragedy.
