Tamara's neighbor Beth Hardiment, whose husband Nicholas is unfaithful, struggles with her marriage amidst the village drama. Teenagers Jody Long and Casey Shaw become infatuated with Ben's presence in their small town. After Tamara accepts Ben's proposal and they spend time together in London, Casey breaks into Tamara's house, sends an anonymous email that disrupts everyone's lives, leading to a tragic conclusion.
