Meanwhile, Bronwyn, portrayed by Sacha Horler, struggles to adapt to married life in remote Yallaroo with her husband Brian, played by Tamblyn Lord, eventually running away from it all. Into this scene arrives an American poet named Lou, played by Brett Stiller, who encourages the younger generation to 'seek out the light'. Leanne's neighbor Gary, played by Tim Draxl, and her friend Debra, played by Anna Torv, are both drawn to Lou's charismatic presence.
