Argumento

Peter Loew (played by Nicolas Cage) is an arrogant publishing executive who visits a nightclub one evening. There he meets and kisses a woman who later turns out to be a vampire. After this encounter, Peter begins exhibiting erratic behavior. He starts experiencing hallucinations and delusions, believing himself to be a vampire. His condition worsens as he pushes his secretary, Alva (played by Jennifer Beals), to extremes in his attempts to deal with his perceived affliction.
