Historia
Terry Lambert (Steve Guttenberg), a businessman, has an affair with his boss' wife Sylvia (Isabella Rossellini). One night, while they are together in Terry's apartment, Sylvia witnesses an attack on Denise (Cathy Moriarty) from the bedroom window. The assailant flees and Denise is saved, but later that same night another girl is found murdered. Terry, wanting to help and fearing exposure of his affair, gives the police a description of the attacker. He soon becomes the main suspect in the case due to his description matching a known criminal's profile. Determined to clear his name and find the real culprit, Terry starts his own investigation with the help of Denise.
