Argumento
Janine, a bank employee who has received a promotion offer to work in China and is taking Mandarin classes, experiences a traumatic event while traveling home on the subway one night. She witnesses two young delinquents attacking an elderly woman and later sexually assaulting a helpless young girl. Instead of intervening or reporting the crime, Janine flees home in shock. This incident disrupts her life, causing her to prioritize personal healing over her career opportunities and relationships. In an attempt to rebuild herself, she travels to the countryside to visit her father who is also trying to cope with his own loss after his wife's death.
