Argumento
Jeff Lang, a doctor living in King County, Washington with his wife Nealy and their son, discovers raccoons destroying his newly sodded backyard due to worms underneath. Frustrated by this and other stressors like marital tension and city hall bureaucracy blocking his plans for an addition to their house, Jeff decides to build the room secretly. He gifts a plant to his unstable neighbor Lila hoping she won't report him. Meanwhile, Jeff's lack of intimacy with Nealy leads him to drink and have sex with Rebecca Mazzoni, his best friend's wife. When Jeff learns that Lincoln, his friend with kidney problems, will die soon, he decides to donate one of his kidneys to save him. However, complications arise as Lila seduces Jeff, they have sex, and she becomes pregnant. After the surgery, Jeff learns about Lila's pregnancy and reflects on his actions.
