Historia
Margot, an attractive woman, supports her elderly father by drugging men on trains ('El beso del sueño') and stealing their money and jewelry. One night, her target is a currency smuggler carrying 100 million pesetas out of Spain. Unbeknownst to Margot, the smuggler is being watched by both a policeman and Salvatierra, a burnt-out alcoholic who occasionally works for a corrupt banker. Both quickly become suspicious of Margot's activities. Margot encounters Salvatierra after drugging him on a train, leading him to believe she is his protector when he wakes up. The policeman suspects Salvatierra of colluding with Margot, but Salvatierra has his own agenda involving the stolen money. As Salvatierra becomes Margot's protector, they grow closer, and their feelings for each other develop.
