Historia
Angie, an aspiring actress struggling to land roles, considers returning home when her roommate Claudia suggests they work together at a 'gentleman's club' to gain life experience and earn money. Angie initially hesitates due to her inhibitions but eventually agrees, hoping this experience will enhance her acting skills. At the club, she meets a burnt-out movie director who helps her overcome her reservations about performing lap dances and encourages her to express herself more freely.
Resumen
Lap Dancing is an erotic drama directed by Mike Sedan in 1995. The film follows Angie, an aspiring actress with little success in landing roles, as she navigates the adult entertainment industry alongside her roommate Claudia. Set against the backdrop of a strip club, the movie explores themes of self-discovery, sexual liberation, and the challenges women face in the pursuit of artistic expression within exploitative systems. Lap Dancing is notable for its independent film status and explicit content, including female frontal nudity, which was somewhat controversial upon release.
