Historia
Mark, a young, blind boy with disturbing visions, lives with his sister Christine and grandmother until the latter's accidental death, which he causes indirectly. They move to Venice where their aunt and uncle own a rundown hotel. After both relatives die by suicide, Christine turns the hotel into a brothel and becomes pregnant inexplicably, behaving increasingly cruelly towards Mark. Mark fears this might be connected to his visions of the Antichrist's birth. He seeks help from Giorgio, Christine's ex-boyfriend, to investigate a mysterious guest named Dan who might be involved. Meanwhile, Father Stefani becomes interested in Christine.
