Argumento
In 1904 Dublin, James Joyce meets Nora Barnacle, a forthright hotel maid from Galway. He's captivated by her and convinces her to move with him to Trieste for his job at Berlitz. Over time, Nora supports Joyce through his phobias and drinking, even taking in his brother Stan. She also proves herself a better writer than him, influencing him to return to Italy from Dublin where he went to open a cinema. However, James's sexual jealousy causes friction, leading Nora to eventually leave with their children for Galway.
