Argumento
A scuba diving instructor named Maggie (played by Tricia O'Neil) and her biochemist boyfriend, Paul (Kevin McCarthy), investigate a series of bizarre deaths near a Caribbean island resort. The victims are found mauled and dismembered, suggesting an unknown aquatic creature is responsible. Maggie's police chief ex-husband, Steve (Steve Marachuk), also becomes involved in the case. They discover that the culprit behind these gruesome attacks is a mutant strain of piranha fish whose lair is located within a sunken freighter ship off the coast.

Resumen
Piranha II: The Spawning is a 1981 horror-science fiction film directed by James Cameron. This sequel to the successful 'Piranha' (1978) follows a new set of characters as they confront an even more deadly threat than their predecessors. Despite being billed as a James Cameron film, he was not involved in its creation after the initial scripting stage due to creative differences.
