Full Biography

Melissa Sagemiller, born June 1, 1974 in Washington D.C., is an American actress. She started her acting career at age 9, attending Georgetown Day School and studying various dance forms from age 3. After briefly pursuing modeling, she graduated with a degree in Art History from the University of Virginia before returning to acting full-time. Sagemiller appeared in several films early in her career, including 'Get Over It' and 'Sorority Boys', and starred in the thriller 'Soul Survivors'. She is known for her roles on television, such as Michelle Ernhardt in 'Raising the Bar' (2008-2009), recurring as ADA Gillian Hardwicke in 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit' (2009-2010), and cast as a female lead in 'Chicago PD' (2013).
