Dubbed 'a new comic blonde' by The Hollywood Reporter due to her comedic prowess reminiscent of Jean Harlow and Mae West, Wood's notable television appearances include recurring as a trashy single mom on Becker (1998). She also portrayed a drug addict, stripper, and Jessica Hahn in Fall from Grace (1990), showcasing her versatility. With a distinctive voice featured in Baskin Robbins commercials, Wood has displayed both cuteness and sex appeal throughout her career.
