Ida Sovová is a Slovak actress born on January 9, 1986, in Žilina, in what was then Czechoslovakia. She established herself in the Czech film and television industry, often credited as Ida Marta Sovová or Marta Ida Sovová. One of her most recognizable roles came in 2006 when she portrayed the character Soňa in the popular teen comedy "Panic je nanic". Throughout her career, she has appeared in a variety of acclaimed projects, including the 2005 dramedy “Příběhy obyčejného šílenství” (Wrong Side Up) and the award-winning historical drama “Protektor” (2009). Sovová has also been a frequent presence on television, with roles in series such as “Světla pasáže” (2007), the medical drama “Sanitka II” (2013), and the long-running show “Slunečná” (2020). Her educational background includes studies at the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts (JAMU) in Brno, where she further honed her acting skills.
