Marianne Gravatte was an iconic American model and actress, widely recognized as Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for October 1982 and subsequently the 1983 Playmate of the Year. Born in Hollywood, California, she became a defining figure of 1980s pop culture, known for her striking looks and presence.
Beyond her prominent work with Playboy, Gravatte crossed into the music scene, most notably appearing on the cover of the 1985 Ratt album Invasion of Your Privacy and featuring in several of the band's music videos, including "Lay It Down". She also made guest appearances in television shows such as Matt Houston and Mike Hammer.
