Biografía completa
Marija Bergam is a prominent Serbian actress best known for her captivating portrayal of Maja Davidović in the critically acclaimed historical crime series Senke nad Balkanom (Black Sun). Born on April 5, 1991, in Kotor, Montenegro, she pursued her passion for the arts at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, where she honed the skills that would eventually make her one of the most recognizable faces of her generation in the Balkans.
Her breakout role in Senke nad Balkanom—often described as the "Serbian Babylon Berlin"—cast her as a wealthy, progressive, and enigmatic socialite caught in the dark political intrigues of interwar Belgrade. Bergam received widespread praise for her ability to balance her character’s elegance with a deep, psychological complexity. Beyond her television success, she has a strong presence in the theater and has appeared in various film projects, consistently choosing roles that challenge traditional female archetypes.
In her personal life, Bergam was previously married to fellow actor Radivoje Bukvić, with whom she shares a son. Today, she remains a significant figure in the regional cultural scene, admired for her sophisticated acting style and her contribution to the "new wave" of high-quality Balkan television drama.
