Matilda De Angelis is a multi-talented Italian actress and musician who has rapidly become one of European cinema's most compelling breakout stars. Born on September 11, 1995, in Bologna, she originally pursued a career in music, touring Europe as a singer and instrumentalist with the band Rumba de Bodas before pivoting to acting.
She made an explosive film debut in the 2016 racing drama Italian Race (Veloce come il vento), a performance that earned her a David di Donatello nomination and established her as a formidable new talent.
