Biografía completa
Michaela Bercu is an Israeli model and actress, best known for her historic contribution to fashion photography and her role in 1990s cinema. She rose to international fame in November 1988 when she appeared on the cover of Vogue US; the image, shot by Peter Lindbergh, marked Anna Wintour’s first cover as editor-in-chief and is celebrated for breaking industry norms by featuring Bercu in a mix of high-fashion Christian Lacroix and casual Guess jeans.
Beyond the runway, she made a memorable transition to the silver screen in Francis Ford Coppola’s 1992 film Bram Stoker's Dracula. In the gothic horror masterpiece, she portrayed one of the three Brides of Dracula alongside Monica Bellucci and Florina Kendrick. Though her film career was brief, her performance as a seductive vampire in the Academy Award-winning production remains a cult favorite among fans of the genre. Today, she is remembered as one of the elite supermodels of the late 80s and early 90s who successfully bridged the gap between the fashion world and Hollywood.
