Michelle Badillo is a queer Latina actress and screenwriter who was born on April 1, 1990, in Queens, New York, as Michelle Badillo. Growing up in a household with a Puerto Rican father and an Argentinian mother, she developed a passion for storytelling early on, attending theater classes as a teenager before moving to Los Angeles to study screenwriting at Loyola Marymount University.
She is widely recognized for her dual talent in the television industry, notably for her acting role as Sam in the Starz series Vida and as Winnie in Search Party. Beyond her work in front of the camera, Badillo has established herself as a prominent writer and producer, contributing to acclaimed shows such as One Day at a Time, The Bold Type, and A League of Their Own.
