Sara Antunes (born Sara Antunes de Oliveira) is a prominent Brazilian actress, director, and playwright known for her versatile performances across film, television, and theater. She was born on April 3, 1982, in São Paulo, Brazil.
Antunes' artistic journey began early, as she started acting at the age of 10. She later solidified her craft by attending the prestigious School of Dramatic Art (EAD/USP) and earning a bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of São Paulo (USP). Her academic background often informs her creative work, which frequently explores themes of memory and social history.
