Simone Taylor is an Australian actress who gained recognition in the mid-1980s for her work in film and television. She is best known for her role as Sharon in the 1985 neo-noir crime thriller The Empty Beach, where she starred alongside Bryan Brown. The film, set against the backdrop of Sydney’s Bondi Beach, remains a notable entry in Australian cinema of that era.
In addition to her film work, Taylor established a presence in television. She appeared in the 1985 biographical miniseries Shout! The Story of Johnny O'Keefe, portraying the character Dixie.
