Born on May 1, 1973, in Bielefeld, Susanne Wolff is one of Germany’s most versatile and acclaimed actresses, celebrated for her powerful presence on stage and screen. After studying at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media, she built a formidable reputation in the theater world. She spent over a decade as a lead member of the Thalia Theater in Hamburg before joining the Deutsches Theater Berlin in 2009. Wolff is particularly known for her intense portrayals of complex female leads, such as Nora and Hedda Gabler, and has famously taken on traditionally male roles like Othello and Macbeth.
